Knowing The Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) was founded
by Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell in 1973. The IONS advances the science
of consciousness and human experience to serve individual and collective
transformation. Noetic sciences further the exploration of conventional
sciences through rigorous inquiry into those aspects of reality -- such as
mind, consciousness and spirit -- that include but go beyond physical
phenomena. Their primary program areas include integral health and healing,
extended human capacities, and emerging worldviews. Presenter: Ellie Lyne
Service Leader: Terry Taylor. |

because of her pacifism, parallels the lives of the presenter's parents who
