Do you have items that could still be of value to someone, and you hate to throw it away.  There is a group, almost 900  folks that belong to a yahoogroup called Watauga Freecycle

By joining, you can send an email to the group and let everyone know what you want to get rid of, or you may be looking for something.  You can post things that you are in need of as well.

To learn more, visit the Watauga Freecycle page in the Yahoogroup.

More information can be found at

www.freecycle.org

Craig's List is also now available in Boone and offers free classified if you want to sell or buy something.

In a similar vein of Freecycle, consider that you can also donate things by posting them on the "Second Hand News" newspaper.

It's free usually to list items for sale or free items.

This one is now installed on the Playhouse and seems to be working great.  See the video.
