I heard yesterday that Pennsylvania managed to get absentee ballots to all prison inmates in a timely fashion. However, they were sent late to military personnel, so our solsiers didn't receive them in time to get them back by the necessary date for them to count. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard! This is some contact info for the elections commission. I don't know who is in charge, but we should find out. Let's let them know this is not acceptable!

As I understand it, the Dem Governor, Rendell, will go to bat for the ability of a convicted felon or prison inmates to vote, but will not extend the deadline for our men and women in combat overseas.

This is a shameful suppression of votes they think will skew towards Bush, and that is the only reason they are doing it. The rightfully believe that the felons and criminals will vote for Kerry, hence the extra effort to get their votes.

Is it just me, or does it look like every voting irregularity, fraud, campaign headquarter invasion and pillaging, and criminal destruction of election signs is by DEMOCRATS for Kerry?

As a follow up to this topic, which I originally posted on Tuesday... There is some talk of using military planes to deliver and return ballots. Johnsville Naval Air Station sits in one of the counties affected. Whether or not it happens will remain to be seen. In the meantime, families of troops, who by the way applied for their ballots in the summer, are filing a law suit. Of course, we all know what this is about Rolling Eyes . Gov. slick Eddie Rendell knows the troops favor Bush. Very Happy If the vote in Pa. is a squeaker, (and it looks like it may be) those votes may make a difference. BTW, the pressure on Rendell, from all over the country is really having an effect, thanks to many of you. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

A Clinton-appointed judge stopped precinct workers in Ohio from removing dead people and fraudulent registrations and Rendell won't let soldiers vote in PA.

I'll get you her name so she can be made public.

It figures.

>>U.S. District Judge Susan Dlott ruled that six county elections boards should stop hearings scheduled this week. Two of the counties, Cuyahoga and Franklin, account for most of the remaining GOP challenges.

Dlott was appointed by President Bill Clinton in 1995.<<

It just pisses me off that these elitist bastards can and do get away with this crap. They're take on the military was summed up by that ignorant S of S under Clinton - Albright who said: "That's what we pay the military for." referring to soldiers dying in Bosnia.

How did our laws get so screwed up that convicts can vote and the military can't?? Oh, nevermind - LAWYERS

If a lawyer and a politician fell out of a plane, which one would hit the ground first??

What's really sick about this Rendell charachter was that he signed exactly this type of extension for receipt of absentee ballots for the primaries.

Why is it suddenly outside his sphere of influence to make sure that our military people can get their votes in - it wasn't their fault that the PA Sec. of State didn't have the friggin' ballots out by the deadline prescribed BY LAW.

Rendell tapdancing all over this issue on Hannity..refuses to say that he will hold off on deadline for military votes..amazing..Hannity trying to nail him..told him less than half of the military votes received in PA..over 26,000 votes..

Rendell, refuses to go to bat for military, the counties did not get the ballots out in time..excuse me?? Watch this blow up in Rendell's face..Go Hannity!!!!!

From my other post:

The Governor of Pennsylvania is refusing to ask a Federal Court to extend the ballot deadline for the troops overseas. There was a delay in the ballots being sent out. The deadline is Saturday and only 1/2 of the Military ballots are in. Call and fax Gov. Rendell and ask him to go to the Federal Court and extend the recieving of ballot for 2 weeks.
