No, Jack Daniels is an all-purpose cure. God Bless America! And in an emergency I will glady accept Canadian Whiskey as an alternative.

Everybody that lives along the Gulf Coast here in Texas knows, or should know that there are basic supplies you always need to be sure you have on hand from June to November: fresh batteries for your radio, bottled water, and a first aid kit...plus whatever else you think you'll need to survive a hurricane.

Though at the first sign of a hurricane coming our way, we've learned to board up our houses, pack up the car and get the heck outta Dodge. And that's what the majority of New Orleanians did, which is why they survived. It's a pity that the city and local government failed their citizens. I think when all the dust settles down, and everyone takes a good long look at what really happened...the Dems will have a harder time blaming Uncle Sugar.

By the way... we're still in the middle of hurricane season, so we could still get hit by a major hurricane here in Texas.
