Well...Here goes...my thoughts

Unlike Sen. McCain, Sen. Kerry made his role in Vietnam the focal point of his Presidential campaign. Sen. McCain rarely brings up Vietnam in his discussions, Doesn't talk much about his 5 1/2 years at the Hanoi Hilton, or that he has a son that until recently served in Iraq.

So why would he bring up Mr. On?

I'm not a big fan of McCain, but he does has my support...barely, but I don't really see this as an issue.

Where does this "Vietnam Veterans Against McCain" get its funding? I cannot believe this is a grass roots movement.

By the way, their website looks amateurish and discombobulated, with a color scheme from hell. I am not at all impressed - when I see such sites, "consider the source" comes instantly to mind.

Okay, the website hosting service apparently will put the owner's name of rustikat as the site owner (if the real owner wishes to remain anonymous.) but it is interesting that in '06 there was also an anonymous parody site painting Senator Van Braxton as a Socialist ALSO hosted on the rustikat's service.

The two things may be related.

going through the website one of the founders of the VVAM(?) lol. is a Jerry Kiley.

Mr. Kiley also help found the Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry back in '04.

He's been in the news apparently a few times himself.

arkadyfolkner, with all due respect for the "sleuthing", it suggests some type of covert operation which is simply not the case.

While many of us might not share some of the views expressed there, its founders have been quite open about their identities, their positions and their motivations.
