IF that's no longer available, here's Rush's point:
SwiftVets are a "527" group.
OFFICIALLY not allowed to communicate with ANY political party.
Bush, RNC, Kerry, DNC, et all are LEGALLY DISALLOWED from coordinating, starting, stopping, anything.
All this brought to you courtesy John McCain & Russ Feingold.
As Rush pointed out, this cuts both ways. BOTH Bush and Kerry are legally disallowed from directly asking SwiftVets.com from ceasing and desisting.
Notice, also, that SwiftVets have NOT (and as far as I can see, have never) said "vote for A" OR "don't vote for B".
They are merely saying "Kerry is Unfit for Command, in their opinion". |

It is now 10:30 pm EST and when I clicked on the poll to vote, I was totally shocked that the results were still 54% yes (9938) for Bush to condemn the ad and 46% No (8507).
I noted that the earlier post that gave the same results was posted about 2:30 p.m.
Will you please let us know if the numbers change after you vote? |
