Don't be surprised by this -- most of the people who run these bookstores are hugely liberal. If you want to see how far this can go, visit Michael Fumento's website and see what happened to his book "The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS". It was basically burried by the liberals in the book world, even though it later turned out to be right on the money. The same thing will happen to Unfit. We'll have to rely on the online stores, and hope they can keep their own liberal hackers under control.

Everyone Please!
This thread is about getting local Swift Vet action going in towns and cities across America. And setting up a vehicle to do that. It is NOT about whining and b****ing about the biases of bookstores.
Be disciplined. STAY ON TOPIC.
Now, some of us are working on setting up another forum or group (not located at swiftvets.com to facilitate people meeting and coordinating locally for the purposes of doing local demonstrations against kerry. Basically exposing the kerry lies about vietnam.
We are looking at yahoogroups, msn groups, and meetup.com. We are open to any other good ideas.
WE NEED HELP. Anyone familiar with starting up one of these deals. Anyone familiar with the options available like moderated or not, etc. Anyone ready to do some work and even take the lead in setting one up. contact me NOW. Via PM and you can post a reply right under here too.
Thanks

With respect, I'm not sure I agree with the idea of setting up another forum, unless you're worried about bandwidth issues at this site. The last thing you want is three or four "locations" online where people meet, as you'll get fragmented efforts and less coordination. Unless there's a real technical reason why not, I'd create a specific forum on this board and use that to arrange these things.
Oh, and for what it's worth, the best idea so far has been the Form 180 idea. Placards, picket signs, signs in Fox's window, sigs on peoples emails, t-shirts, all saying "Kerry -- Form 180?" People will wonder what the hell it is (a la who is John Galt?) and you'll get coverage. |

Go to your local library and request that they
obtain the book.
Enough requests and they will. |
