And the end of Scarborough segment....SLAM dunk for John O'Neill!
I'm going to email Joe and thank him for giving this topic the attention it deserves. I suggest everybody do the same. _________________ ===============

Mr. Oneill quoting kerry's own version from his fanciful version in"Tour..." was classic.
Hit em with their own club...
Then Joe puts up a screenful of the book, and free chapter. love it.

well, when even the DNC can see it,,,,, then kerry is toast. |

That was THE best interview I have ever seen when there are two sides, each having very strong convictions about thier side. It was fair, it was even handed and HOT DANG did O'Nelll ever do GOOD! I loved that parting shot....The Jig is UP! Now if only Joe can get Kerry to release his military records. |

Guys,
Hurley (and Kerry) are forgetting what any first year law student knows (having dated one a few years back):

I think you are right. On the one hand Hurley is claiming that Kerry's boat was inoperable, yet we know that Kerry towed 3 back.
I've seen a copy of the report which was obviously for 3 but had 94 as the number. I believe that someone said they got it off the Kerry web site.
Don't have a link, but maybe someone who is more familiar with it than I am will pop in with it.
Too bad John O'Neill said that the windows were blown out the day before. He may not have seen that 94 report that is really for 3. |

You heard him right...I thought for sure John O'Neill would point out the contradiciton of Hurley arguing about how damaged Kerry's boat was then insisting it was the boat that towed the 3 boat out....mind boggling....
I loved John's last lines....sometimes when you lie you tell the truth by mistake....CLASSIC!!!! |

Way to go Joe......and once again Mr. O'Neill was fabulous. Did I hear him say that there are several of the SBV in town and they are giving a news conference tomorrow?
Good of Joe to show the book and say that an excerpt was on MSNBC.com and that the media certainly has been given a lot to think about.

I saw only the last 10 minutes of the show and unfortunately due to the Olympics the show will not repeat tonight. Anyone know if a transcript of the show will be available?
Did Joe say if he has read "Unfit for Command"? |

John O'Neill did a total knock out of hurley. Scarbough really set the stage for an honest debate and John O'Neill scored it BIG TIME.
Long last I'll say that O'Neill has smoothed out all the wrinkles. _________________

Well met all,
Long time lurker 1st time poster.
If anyone ever plays online gaming ; The term we would use is John just WTF-pwnd! Hurley. (I'm sure you can figure it out)
Awesome job John, maybe you should run for president I'd vote for you even if you ran as a dem, although I'm sure they would love to forget who you are.

Hurley was speechless for a while after O'Neill dropped this one on him.

If so, TELL JOE -- looks like he's got his teeth into this & might do follow up show (& hopefully have all those guys on O'Neill indicated would be happy to appear) -- |
