Senator you have to do better than this to justify John Kerry becoming the Commander in Chief. Veterans are equally angry with him for his Vietnam service and post Vietnam discredit to all veterans. I believe your allegiance to the Democratic Party is clouding your vision. The American public does not need to have a Commander in Chief who has sided with the North Vietnamese but has disgraced every veteran who served the USA. If you haven't already read Unfit for Command please read it and then reply with facts to show where the authors have not presented the truth about John Kerry. Your contention that the swift boat veterans for truth disgraced the Navy has no basis it is John Kerry who has disgraced the Navy and every sailor and veteran. Let's get real and avoid the political rhetoric and spin. John Kerry has made his service the only selling point of why he should become President and therefore it is fair game that the swift boat veterans tell the American public the truth about John Kerry. After reading Unfit for Command I have no intention to vote for someone who has not only deceived the American public but placed his fellow veterans in harms way while serving in the military for such a "short period" of time. Senator Kerry I assume you completed your military career with more than three months service in Vietnam. In fact if I were you I would be outraged that the Kerry campaign has used your distinguished war record to present himself to the public. It's ironic how many veterans thought they were talking to you in the past when in fact they were talking to John Kerry. When they realized they were talking to John Kerry they were no longer interested in continuing the conversation because they knew the record of John Kerry who should never be considered a hero based on his flawed military record.
