Yep, on the Kerry-Edwards forum they're ranting and raving DEMANDING Cheney release HIS military records!!!!!

Excuse me....uh, where are Kerry's records again? He released them when? Oh....silly me!

Isn't Cheney too old for the Vietnam thing??? I realize Cheney has nothing to do with Kerry's stuff, but just curious.

Folks,
John Edwards was EIGHTEEN in 1971. Can't find any details ... but, he graduated from college in 1973 ... he didn't serve either, apparently not drafted or got student deferrment ... as many of the Vietnam era did, including Cheney.
I'm not sure they have alot to talk about re: Cheney. Can't wait for the Edwards-Cheney debates Twisted Evil

Edwards claims that he had a high draft number, and I haven't seen any evidence to the contrary. As much as I disagree with him, I think this is a no starter. He took his chances with the draft and got lucky. Nothing wrong with that.

That's what the dems would like very much -- contort the issue into one of EVERYONE's military service -- I have a feeling they will be writing volumes about every single medal rec'd by all the Swiftees and all the military service of all the republicans -- and on and on, expanding the information being reported on and deflecting the interest away from the only issue here: KERRY. They probably have little charts drawn up illustrating how they can spread out the story with little arrows pointing at Bush, Cheney, the vets, etc., so all kinds of people have to defend themselves and be interviewed, and then it will be all about THEM and meanwhile, the next 2 months go by and Kerry can step back a bit from this scrutiny and get past these irritating requests for his records.

Keeping the focus and pressure directly on KERRY is paramount....

advisors, I said no but if they do ever bring one , I will make it

a point.

Cheney's military records? What, as SecDef? I thought he was never in the armed services at all.
