I feel very strongly that having a resource with official SBVT talking points would be extremely helpful to this entire effort.

It should not be one that all may post to -- only official sources. It should lay out all the key facts we want to emphasize as well as respond to whatever attacks are out there.

There are many reasons why this resource would have value. The success of this effort is in no small part to the grass roots support. These talking points would leverage that support.

I would buy the book "Unfit for Command" and read it.
Tell those who you debate this"Whose story keeps changing?"
"Not the Swift Vets, but John F Kerry's story chances day by day."
"Look at his latest flip flops and waffling"

Yep, there are a number of threads going for rebuttals, talking points and links to articles that rebut the Kerry stories. Feel free to contribute to any of those.

There are also a number of "power lifting" articles in which things were chewed apart and put in order.

I got your PM about this earlier, today and I'm sorry, I've just been too busy to answer it. Sad But this is what I wanted to tell you, anyway.

Thanks!

I understand your request CCR and I agree with it.

There is a lot of confusion out there in the media towards common questions they keep coming up with.

Its in the best interests of Swift Vets to help reporters with the answers.

I think a road map is necessary too, especially with the complexity of it all.

Let's face reality, lots of people interested in politics will not get to read
'Unfit' by election day. We need FAQs on subjects like:
Christmas (or anytime) in Cambodia, first Purple Heart,
Bromze Star third Purple - Rassmann incident,
VVAW, "The New Soldier', medal toss, etc.
Write the FAQs in a factual style, clearly citing what is
first hand v secondary sources of info.
...
The mainstream media cheats by stating that 'Kerry's claims' are facts,
and citing secondary, really 'hearsay' sources, as evidence.
An example of this would be the Bronze Star incident, the MSM will
state as a fact, 'there was enemy fire', when that 'fact' is extremely dubious. Similiarly, the MSM will cite (as evidence) a medal citation, that should really be considered essentially hearsay, written by someone who
was not a witness, and was just reading a report (possibly written by Kerry).
.
p.s.
the Swifties should demand that, Kerry himself, respond to the
issues they are raising.
