Who says we want kerry here as it is? He actually has not done well in the polls here during the DNC. He is seen as aloof, a elitist, and a man incapable of taking a position and sticking to it.
Not that the SOB spends much time here in Mass. as it is, with his private jets and estates throughout the country, he is a bit of a Ghost here. We know he exsist, but put him out of our mind until he comes back to Haunt us in the middle of the night.

| I really do think that "My Pet Goat" is a side to this that kerry really does not want to persue. I mean, it's been provent hat while BUsh was there for only seven minutes, whild he clearly was concerned and measures were already being taken to deal with it, kerry has admitted that for 33 minutes after Bush left that class room, he himself was still seated in the Senate with his jaw on the floor picking his butt with not a clue what to do. I think his quote says something like "I was in shock, we all were. I didn't have any idea what to do I was in shock". That's basically what kerry himself said, and while Bush was in the air for a half hour giving orders and being President, kerry was STILL in the senate, on his butt, watching the tv and not doing A THING! He wasn't making calls, he wasn't getting with the chain of command to see what was being done. He wasn't doing anything. So really, I hope that the kerryites keep hammering about Bush in the classroom. There's no upside for kerry on that. It's a bad call if they decide to make it. The only thing Bush could have done was to stormed out of the class making some big scene on camera, live!, instead of being calm and collected, knowing that it's being dealt with. His personal presence those seven minutes wouldn't have stopped or prevented anything. It's a dog that won't hunt, but it has the teeth to turn on kerry if he keeps pushing it. |
