This is new above the fold front page article in the Washington Post. Haven`t read it yet but they name Jim Russell, Rich McCann, and Rich Baker who will be defending Kerry against switees.

Kerry is calling these men to vouch for him. Obviously, they didn't come forward on their own. Makes one wonder what is being offered/threatened for them to do this.

Rood admitted Kerry called him. Wonder if these guys will get the same scrutiny the Swiftees got, or if the ole double standard will apply....again.

I see two positives for our side in this story. Although at least two of them were swift boat commanders, they are not his actual crewmates. They can no longer contend that only the men on his boat are credible witnesses. Secondly, it now opens up the dialogue and since we have the truth on our side it can only help us in the long run.
