Someone please enlighten me on a something. This is not to defend Kerry or anything of the sort.
I know when Sailors get awards they have to write their own award up. I can see Kerry writing this up and giving it to his superior officer to review and sign and then submit. It's how it is done now anyways. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. I asked my husband if I could right up his end of tour award. LOL!! I could have too.
I have a problem with this procedure. I don't think it is right.
Anyways..... for those who think it's wrong for Kerry to have written his own award up - for all the awards given that I have seen the person getting the award is the one who writes it up. Atleast in the Navy.

| orielly is doing a pretty good job of staying in the middle, and jabbing both sides. However, to do this he is ignoring the truth. Even a horse can leave something in the middle of the road, Orielly is not looking out for me |

Sailors don't write their own awards. Sailors write "inputs" for their fitness reports. But, they don't write their own fitness reports, either.

Perhaps I am confused on what it is. He just said it was for awards. I do remember the name "Fit Rep" being included. I still don't get it though. LOL!!!!
