John Kerry "reported for duty," in his battle to become the next Commander-in-Chief, in July at the Democratic Convention.

But its beginning to look like this current tour of duty may end even faster than his world-record 4-month tour as a Swiftee in Nam.

However, this doesn't appear to be just another of Kerry's patented "three painless Purple Hearts buys a quick ticket home" scheme.

This time, Kerry may have actually suffered serious, debilitating and career-ending battle injuries, like so many of his fellow Vets did back in Nam.

And although he may require extensive hospitalization (psychiatric), Kerry probably won't be lobbying for another purple heart, a Silver Star or a V for valor.
