Kerry voted with the vast majority, to give Bush authority to threaten Saddam Hussein with military action, to force him to comply with the U.N. resolutions.

Bush did exactly that.

Saddam still did not comply.

Bush sent our troops (and a coalition of others) to Iraq, enforcing his words with the action he had promised Saddam.

Saddam was shocked. Kerry was shocked! Neither expected that!

Kerry would have hemmed and hawed, consulted with "Old Europe" and the U.N. til the cows came home and allowed Saddam to keep thumbing his nose at this country and the entire civilized world for many more years and many more empty U.N. resolutions.

John Kerry does not understand that defending America's credibility is that important. That does not meet Kerry's test for "going to war only as a last resort."

And that should not surprise us. Kerry has no personal credibility. He has no intellectual honesty. He sees nothing wrong with Clinton doing nothing after the first Trade Center attack or with "Old Europe" and the U.N. doing nothing after 13 meaningless resolutions issued to Iraq's defiant dictator.

John Kerry, like the U.N., would never enforce compliance. He would rather wait until after America is attacked again to take action.

President Bush knew after Sept 11th that our country must be taken seriously by evil-doers around the world. He understood that our past permissiveness and failure to bring consequences had destroyed our credibility and had given our enemies the courage to challenge us.

Bush definitely "misled" Kerry, because Kerry never dreamed that Bush intended to actually honor his word.

And by following through, Bush restored the credibility of the U.S. He also greatly improved our chances of avoiding future conflicts, because American presidents will now be taken seriously again, that is unless John Kerry is elected.

WOW Shocked Image that a man in politics who means what he says and says what he means - that really must have shocked John "flip-flop" Kerry who has no sense of the word honor, intergrity, or service to one's country - especially to those men/women one served with.
