Nothing that I've seen or heard has convinced me that the Clintons actually want John F-ing Kerry tio win. Hillary needs a clear coast for 2008, not an encumbent looking for a second term, and therefore an automatic candidacy. Going through the motions is one thing, and actual support is another.

Kerry and his people are looking at the poll numbers right now. I believe they know if they do a mass slim attack it could back fire on them big time. Thats not to say they won't do this at a later date as we get closer to 2 Nov 2004. I have said many times Kerry and Dems will do and say anything to win no matter who it hurts. Remember 71 did kerry care about all the VETS he was hurting. "NO"

I think this will be quiet for a few more days. I am sure they have stuff dug up and ready to go. I am also sure they had it polled and tested who could spew this mud with the least negative perception and greatest impact... and the winner is

James "Satan's own" Carvel.

People expect him to say outrageous things. So I suspect he will be the one to start spewing mud --- all without names or specifics.... just lines and lines of outrageous allegations.

No one will call him on it because they expect such nonsense from him.
