Saint, I have a question for you? Maybe you can answer if you still have an honest bone left in your body...but my experience with Democras, liberals or what ever you want to call yourself now has not been that at all.
Perhaps you could share with us your age, background, (especially military) and you experience in life that leads you to these strange, irrational thought processes.
Here ya go... I will start with my background.
48 years old. Raised 4 kids. My father is a World War ll veteran. (Army)
My brother is a Viet Nam veteran (Air Force) Last year, our family was devastated by the loss of a dear friend serving in Iraq. (Marine)
Our youngest and only son decided that it was far more productive to put his money where his mouth was, so he is finishing boot camp (Marine)
rather than sit around at a computer on some college campas somewhere and harass the good men and women who served so bravely so that he might choose to sit around and do such a thing.
Without a doubt. The one charactoristic that I see running through almost all Democrats (aka, global thinkers) is that most really are not concerned with much of anything that happens right outside their own backyard.
The globe only extends to the backyard fence. (so to speak).
most I have met are really not capable of a more complex thought process or in simpler terms.....what happens at the other end when the dominos start to fall.
I am not surprised when I see the name calling and ugly rhetoric.
It is all they have left because their facts won't hold water. They just keep restating the same lie over and over like a mantra until, at least they believe it.....
Here is what truly bnothers me and proves my point...
There are literally thousands of Usenet or regular political forums on the internet in which Saint (interesting nik by the way) could work towards the goal of enlightening the impressionable.
Yet he or she has chosen a military one.
Of all Americans out there doing amazing things for this country....
The truest heros of all are those who have been, are and will choose to put their lives on hold to preserve what MOST Americans hold dearest.
They do it for extremely low pay. They do it without regard to sleep or personal happiness. They do it at the expence of the time lost with their loved ones left behind. They do it out of love for this wonderful country!
They Saint, are Americas true heros!!!!!
I find the psychological very interesting that you would choose to fight your battle here. In a military forum.
Do you really think you are changing anyone here?
You are the poster child for why we all need to make sure that Kerry and his followers like you don't ever get a chance to run this beloved nation.
You are a coward behind a computer screen.
Isn't there a new video game you would rather be playing right now?
Nuf Said.
(I will now wait for the name calling and personal assaults to begin)

Sorry, I just can't resist this monkey. Please, if you are going to say something about disgrace to our men and women in the service, please put it into the right context, "Kerry is the one who has disgraced the service men and women" That's ok, just keep jumping up and down, you are making and even better case as to why NOT vote for Kerry!! |
BUT GEORGE BUSH WENT AWOL, HE IS THE DISGRACE to all our members of the armed services dead and alive and serving |

and on a related note...
Published: June 04, 2004
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) The Corpus Christi (Texas) Caller-Times is asking Democrat John Kerry to apologize for what it says was the unauthorized use in a Kerry campaign commercial of photos copyrighted by the newspaper.
Editor Libby Averyt said Thursday that the ad, which is not running in Texas, appeared to use photos from "South Texas Heroes," a book on veterans published by the newspaper.
"No request was made to the Caller-Times for any of the photos," Averyt said.
A Kerry spokesman said Thursday that the appropriate apologies have been made.
The Spanish-language commercial began airing May 28 in six states -- Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Florida, Colorado and Ohio -- as part of Kerry's push to attract Hispanic voters.
It describes Kerry as a Vietnam veteran and Democrat who "knows that in Washington, the World War II Memorial is a monument to soldiers with names such as Garcia, Chavez and Ortiz." It shows photos of Kerry in Vietnam, artist's renderings of the World War II monument and photos of Hispanic veterans, while listing last names.
The newspaper's attorney, Jorge C. Rangel, on Thursday asked Kerry in a letter to stop using the ads and to apologize to the soldiers' families as well as to the Caller-Times.
"As a decorated war veteran yourself, I hope you will join us in disavowing the use of the images of our brave soldiers as political props in this election. Their patriotism should not be politicized," Rangel wrote.
Kerry spokesman Luis Vizcaino said the campaign has apologized to the veterans' families. He said the ad has been replaced with one that uses photos only of those veterans whose families have given permission for use of the images.
Vizcaino said the campaign believed that permission had been granted for the photos.
"Otherwise, we would never have run them," he said, noting that the ad was crafted by a consultant. "We are taking this very seriously and we apologize to those whose photos were used without permission."
A photo of veteran Frank Lemos Sr. appears both in the ad and in "South Texas Heroes," but his son said he would not have given permission for the image to be part of the commercial.
"My father was a strong Bush supporter," Frank Lemos Jr. said in Thursday's editions of the Caller-Times. "If he was alive today, he wouldn't have done this." _________________ "Clean your weapons!" |

This is not about George Bush, what part of that don't you understand?? If you want to discuss GB and bash him, please go to the Kerry forum, they approve that kind of message over there. This is soley about Kerry, unless you can come up with something authentic to defend Kerry I know I don't want to listen to you.
Armorer, good post on the info concerning the photo's. I just don't get it though, is the Kerry campaign that stupid to think they wouldn't have been caught or called on for using unauthorized photo's? What a disgusting way to use vet's. Yeah for the families to stand up and same with the Caller-Times. I firmly believe that an honorable vet would get written permission to use photo's that include other's vet's. What does that say about Kerry's honor? |
