It captures his current evil and angry look and voice. Perfect.

Yes, California and New York would be good.

Kerry would freak out if it got closer in either place.

Hi All,

I don't post here much, but I'm thankfull for the continual effort you have put up against this man that dares to be CIC.

Its a funny ad. It should be effective since he's contradicting himself in a blatantly rediculous fashion.

That being said, IMO, the real power comes from the ads where people tell the stories of how they ended up being victimized by his recklessness, e.g. the POWs, or his deceipt, e.g. Steve Pittman.

lastly, to me the most effective line in the ad is him saying that he is still proud of renouncing the symbols that we're given to him. It shows him to be the total hypocrite that he is. He wants to run as a war hero, but he's ashamed of his service. Unbelievable...

Keep up the good work!

Terry

Good. But we definitely need a commercial on the following...

1) Paris and the North Vietnam war rememberance honoring Kerry.

2) Kerry's comments saying if we pull out of Vietnam only a few thousand would die, and then showing the massacre that resulted. Mentioning in the ad that the same thing could happen in Iraq if Kerry was President.

Lots of people are supporting an ad about Kerry's comment about casualties an pulling out of Vietnam. I'd be leary of such an add. Many people including reporters shared that same sentiment and such an add might unintentionally offend some voters and reporters. It should be about Kerry not the anti-war movment. That gets sticky. Bush recently admitted that he miscalculated the Iraqi resistence. Its really hard to peg someone for wrongly predicting the outcome of war. Kerry was wrong. No doubt. But I think the focus should be Kerry not the anti-war movment and their wrong predictions about Vietnam.

I agree that the new add is good because it has a humorous element. It sticks out and makes you want to see it again

I havent got the chance to see the ad yet Rolling Eyes

Here in North Florida, our cable provider has been having trouble all day with one certain channel (Fox News Network).......Go Figure Confused

The FNC works great every where else around the surrounding counties, but ever since the cable service provider had to include FNC & FX on our channel line-up, we seem to have problems veiwing either one (especially the FX channel), but the Fox News channel usualy comes through.

Along with that, trying to veiw the new ad "Confused & Dazed" in the "Windows Media" format, will not work on this computer. It always has a problem with the "Proxy Server" (different number most times), and if it isn't shown in "Realplayer". I can't veiw it online either..........ain't that the pits! Mad

Hva a great day everyone,

NEW JERSEY guys, New Jersey! Very Happy

Never in my adult life {longer than I want to admit, LOL} have we seen New Jersey in such a teeter/totter position!! It's history in the making over here.

We need an ad here. Never would have dreamed these people would be cracking.... Razz AMAZING.

How can anyone be undecided. Look at the disaster his campaign is. This is who would run the country.

Th Undecideds that I know are voters who think that going into Iraq was wrong. Therefore they dislike Bush, but at the same time they still do not like nor understand John Kerry. They keep saying they do not have any idea what Kerry will do once in office. For that reason they are afraid to vote for him at this time. They seem to be waiting for something unforseen to happen that will convince them one way or the other.

I agree. The POWs telling how Kerry's testimony adversely affected them is powerful. That needs to be emphasized.

The ad's dynamite. It will be extremely effective if it's allowed to cintinue playing. Apparently ABC objects to the footage from Good Morning America and has asked the "ads creators" to stop using copyrighted materials, but it's unclear from their press release what they intend to do about it. Seems to me that I recall NBC objecting to either a Kerry or Mor-on ad for same reasons. Anyone recall the outcome of that.

Hard to believe the Swift Vets hadn't considered the copyright laws in preparing these ads. O'Neill's way to smart to fall for that. Wonder what's up ?

After watching it several more times, I still really like it. I think it is the type of ad that could move non-ideological swing voters. Kerry comes across as almost insane. Certainly could cause an undecided soccer mom to question Kerry's mental fitness to be CIC.

The more is own words are used against him the better it is. I am sure his campaign spinners will have an explanation for the flip flop. He changes is stories to fit the situation he is in at the time. The ad really gets the point across.
