Hi,
Thanks for the great posts here tonight. I read the transcript as it was posted and then followed along here. I hate watching debates and speeches, prefer to read for substance.
Bush clearly WON big on substance.
Keep the faith!!! |

I just emailed Greta with the following (Susan Estrich is on claiming 180000 or something like that are voting --ha!!):
Just to let you know, there is a HUGE protest to NOT vote on ANY online polls since people can clear the cookie file and vote continuously. They are totally meaningless!!!!

I hope that was okay?!? |

Count me in for $10.00. I am SO PROUD THAT GEORGE W. BUSH IS OUR PRESIDENT!!! He ran over John Kerry like road kill tonight. I think the President had a more detailed and less contradictory answer on at least 95% of the questions! Add to that his obvious ease with himself and the people in the audience and it was a sweet Victory! The last week has been rather depressing (its been hard to have the TV on) but, as of tonight, I again feel good about things. I have faith that the majority of voting Americans are smart, informed, moral and overwhelmingly more conservative than liberal on nearly every issue. God Bless George W. Bush, all you Swift Boat Vets, and the United States of America!!!!

I see nothing on factcheck.org. Read elsewhere that Bush owned a share of stock in a timber company at some point. Hardly qualifies him as a small business owner.

Just a guess, but Greta's "gullibility" probably doesn't factor into her commentary nearly as much as the fact that her husband works for the Kerry campaign. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

I also emailed her but I told her that we are also voting for Kerry just to show how rediculous these polls are. |

Be careful what you say about Illinois..... You can say that about Chicago, where you also can vote after death.... But the rest of state is different... farmers, small towns, cities (not overgrown ones).... Its the land of Lincoln, and "Honest Abe" is still a great role model.....

Fair enough. Let me say that I chose the word gullibile instead of a few others I would have preferred, in an effort to keep the tone of my post appropriate.

I stand corrected. My penance is to donate $10.00 more; but now my wife will know. |

Very true, GIaunt. I'm north of Chicago, up closer to Wisconsin, but work near the city...I leave for work in the morning and all I see are Bush/Cheney signs...the closer I get to Chicago they morph into Kerry/Edwards signs... |

Tell me about it -- I am from Illinois! Heh, heh, most of the state IS ok, but there are a couple areas....
I'm not so sure the above could not be "automated" by a good programmer. But, even on a so-so machine on DSL you can probably vote every 5-10 seconds. Except that most Repubs are too straight up to do such! (Ok, I'll admit I voted twice on Fox, but it was just to see if the cookie deletion / voting twice worked. It did, so I did not bother going to other polls.) _________________ Paul R.
