They shouldn't even allow these polls to be made public. People are developing such a "sound bite" mind set, they won't do any research on anything, and wait for the MSM to tell them what to think. They stopped the networks from making early predictions as to the winner of each state because they thought it reduced the numbers of voters in the west. How are the polls any different? It could just as easily put people in a "what's the use" frame of mind, and they just stay home from the very beginning.
I'm of the firm belief that the "doom and gloom" comments of the MSM have been pivotal (if not causitive) in just about every economic downturn we've had in the last 20-25 years; people have been talked into it. |
