We're all probably better off as the UNITED States of America, but if the "South" (red states) formed its own nation, it would be much larger than in Jefferson Davis' time--you could add Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, Missouri, Iowa, and everything west of the Mississippi River and east of the Cascades. Probably Pennsylvania outside of Philly, and Illinois outside of Chicago, and the eastern half of California would join them as well.

Then there would probably be massive emigration of downtrodden minorities (Christians) from the "blue" nation, which could be baptized the Liberal States of Hillarius, which could then merge with Canada, in order to replace the lost wheat fields of the Great Plains.

The best thing we can do to get blathering Bob off the air is to vote with our clickers. All the stations care about are ratings.

When he comes on, either shut the TV off for a few minutes, or change channels. When they see the ratings go down every time he's on, they will give him the heave ho.
