understandable it is read only, but is it read only for the mods only? was that what the mods intended or is it a mistake?

It was intended all along that the forum be closed to new posts after election day.

It was a simple case of having to hit two switches to make the forum read only with this software, not just one. The software isn't very intuitive in that way.

Sorry to have ruffled anyone's feathers.

We've removed the insulting posts from this thread, and I'm quite willing to move threads over here and bump them for you if you give me a URL.

Our Epilogue forum is for posting articles that are appearing that "dissect" the campaign and mention the effect that SVPT have had on the election. There is some reallllly good stuff in there!

And if you all can get your hands on last week's Weekly Standard, some wonderful commentary in there, too!
