Thanks, GM. LOL!! I love it.
Far from being frog-marched, it looks like Rove is vindicated and the press has hung themselves with the rope Rove hung out there.
I don't know that the rope-a-dope was intentional but Rove knew that this would eventually be the true story coming out. Thumb your nose, Mr. Rove, the slimy press deserve it!!

Continuing my post from pg. 1 of this thread.

Looks pretty obvious to me. The NYT set up the deal with Miller to pass the tip to other key reporters in order to keep their hands clean.

I've been thinking about the fact that Judith Miller is still sitting in jail
rather than testifying before the grand jury. She obviously is still protecting someone. Either herself or her employer, the NYT???
It occurs to me that the NYT, for whom Miller works, has had a cozy relationshp with Joe Wilson.
It was the NYT who published Wilson's Op/Ed piece attacking the President that started this whole circus rolling.
Hmmmm.
Are they withholding evidence that they PAID Joe Wilson to write that Op/Ed, essentially branding the President a liar??? Remember the mantra that followed--Bush Lied! Bush Lied!
And then Novak's column, and immediately Joe Wilson indignantly claiming
it was Rove who outed his wife.
And then, the NYT demanding a Special Prosecutor to investigate Rove.
It all just seems very choreographed to me!
And Judith Miller stills sits in jail and the NYT refuses to turn over possible evidence to the Grand Jury. They are sure covering up something smelly.
