I tried to select all and paste this document into a word document. Would love to have this to show to fellow co-workers. Anybody have any advice.

it's a pdf... I recently asked a friend who knows lots about comuters and files etc how to print one (from Kerry's files); the only way she could think of was to print it out (if you can print a page of forum) then scan it into your computer as a word doc.

If someone comes up with a better way to do it, let me know also!

You can screen capture it and save it as an image file. The .png format
worked for me pretty well on it and not too big a file -- good for e-mailing and good quality. But .jpg or .bmp (big file!) might be better if you are trying to paste it into Word -- I haven't tried that. Note -- some screen capture software will grab an entire web page, but mine won't -- had to
grab it in pieces.

Oh, "DUH!"

Even easier, right click on the Kerry document in this forum, and then "save picture as" a .jpg or .bmp. (I'd save it as a .bmp first and then use an image viewer to turn it into a .png, .jpg, or whatever.)
The print quality might not be great -- you may be able to enhance the image in your file viewer. Note: Each page is a separate image.

This needs to be ALL over the Internet. (I am assuming it is legit????)
Anyone know for sure?

Also I am wondering if anyone can come up with a better copy.

Note that this not only proves Zell Miller correct, it also says a lot about Kerry's judgement many years after 'Nam. "Presumed 'window of vulnerability' which we now know not to exist" my ***!!!

The "amiable dunce" right! The "intelligent" Kerry, wrong! W as in "Wrong --> Senator Kerry!"

True that Mr. Miller probably can handle himself, but I'll bet he doesn't mind getting notes of appreciation from those - particularly veterans - who stood up and cheered as he spoke at the RNC. I haven't looked - he must have a web site or e-mail address where he's getting heaps of s**t from the outraged Kerry worshippers. I for one would like to do my part to balance that load - anyone know where to send thanks to him?

Here you go -- Senator Zell Miller's Web Mail (http://miller.senate.gov/email.htm) Cool

Does anyone have a link to the actual .pdf?
I could strip out the text and make it in to a txt or doc or rtf--
shouldn't be a problem. I'm also willing to host the pdf and
the docs therefrom on my site. Smile

Paul R has the easiest way. You can literally copy anything off the internet this way.... Just put your cursor over the image, right click with your mouse and click 'copy' Then open a word document and put your cursor on the page at the top and right click 'paste'
You may have to do it 2 times, it is 2 pages. This then becomes a word document. Most emails now will let you 'paste' it right into the body to forward it around, ya know, for everyone to see!
I really hope this document is for real, it already has helped me win a couple of co-worker battles Smile (especially since I contract for the DOD on a particluar cruise missile listed!)

Correct - you can copy and paste it right into Word, or for that matter, most of those image viewer programs. I tend to lose a little quality in Word sometimes, which is why I usually save stuff like this as image files. (Also easier to enhance the image in the image viewers.*) Some e-mail programs will let you insert an image(s) into the body of your e-mail. Again, try using the .png format if you can, to keep the file size down when you e-mail it. These days almost anybody should be able to view a .png. (Of course, if you want to annoy someone, send it as a big .bmp -- kidding!)

*A quick & easy freebie is "IrfanView" -- just do a search for it on the Web.

I sure hope someone can confirm this is legit. It really sounds like Kerry: Almost mirrors his comments yesterday about the Iraq War & "resources".
