I've been reading about your actions for some time, and I understand your cause is to make a stand against Kerry in his abuse of veterans for his own purpose. I have made a donation of $25, perhaps more symbolic than effective, but for me it's a noticable part of our family budget.

Please let me make it very clear that I have no intention to mingle in your politics, but I admire the fact that you confront a politician with his lack of respect for veterans. A lack of respect that is present in Holland as well, I wil be present at a demonstration on the 27th of September in Holland, at 48 years of age the first one I have ever been to, but as I see it needed just the same as your action.

Our oldest daugther is in the USA now as an exchange student, her wonderful host-family sent us a picture of their house with both the American and Dutch national colors flying side by side. Such a picture may not change the world, but I was very moved by it.

regards, Leo Starrenburg.

I have some of the SINK KERRY SWIFTLY bumper stickers, ASPB(Tom) created. (see the previous thread) They're terrific!!! I noticed several people commented early on, that they wanted some, but not 100. We are asking for donations of $5.00, to the SwiftVets, in exchange for each of them, here at home. We're doing pretty good, too! Cool Anyone who wants no more than 5, can send me a self addressed / stamped envelope and I will send you these great bumper stickers. All I ask is that you immediately send $25.00 to the Swiftvets, via this website. If the postage is higher than a standard letter, then I will cover the cost. They still need our help, now and until the election is over and the Kerry 'cane has left our shores. People need to see the "message" anywhere and everywhere, so maybe they'll ask you about it and you can tell them about it. From experience, I can tell you this bumper sticker is a conversation starter. Thanks in advance to anyone that's interested in displaying your convictions publicly. Your a true modern patriot, like me, I've discovered.
Thanks for that, too, Swifts Very Happy

Send me a PM for my mailing address. Thanks!

A practical question:

I made a donation via the secure website, once I pressed the "charge card" button I was back on the first page with all the boxes now empty, didn't see a conformation or an error message.

My first donation (sep 14) has not yet been charged to my card, made a second one today to see if this comes through. If both come through so much the better.

regards, Leo.

edit: corrected a typo

Making another contribution to the SBVT in their effort to stop a traitor (Kerry) from being Commander-in-Chief.

This bumper sticker has raised another $50.00 for the SwiftVets. Very Happy I have limited funds, myself. Embarassed Soooo, I purchased 100 of the stickers for $115.00 ($100.00 + $15 for S&H) As of yesterday, we "sold" 10 of them for a $5.00 donation to the Swiftees. I sent the money in yesterday thru the site. We will "sell" more. We've given some away, as well, with the hope that the more people who see the slogan, the more people who will want to find out what it's all about. I don't intend to recoup my $115.00 investment, that's one of my donations. I just want an opportunity to reach out to as many people in my community, as possible, about the veterans and John Kerry. Believe me, they are a conversation starter. The funny thing is, the people who have asked me about the stickers, rarely have actually heard what the SwiftVets have said, first hand. They say,"Oh those guys who are lying about Kerry". I just smile and ask if they've heard of the book "Unfit for Command" or have they seen any of you on television. If they still aren't interested or BLIND/DEAF, I drop it. BUT Cool , if they engage me further I try to explain what your organization is about. Hopefully, I'm a competent spokesperson. Mainly I encourage them to come "here" and read, ask, and learn from all of you. I have learned so much here, that I was compelled to get involved. There is no doubt in my mind of the sincerity of these good men. I will keep my bumper sticker proceeds coming and my own personal donations, too. The personal ones have been meager, but "I can't afford NOT to send money". IT'S OUR FUTURE!!!! Wink

My contribution is in the mail today. I'll add its the very first time Ive ever given a penny to any Political cause. But this cause is to important, and its going to cost money to get the truth about this guy out there. The news media is certainly not going to help us!

It would be a national tragedy if this guy was elected...........................Rich

I donated 10 dollars this month a couple weeks ago, I'll donate another 10 when I get more money. It's not that much but I guess the important thing is that I do what I can because I care. <3 Smile
