All his medals reissued on the same day. What a nice touch. But then even that was not good enough. It seems he went back for more to get his Silver Star juiced up by NavSec Lehman.

Doing a little research here on what type of discharge or boy could have received. Looking through my copy of the Manual for Courts Martial and found this tidbit:

There are three types of punitive separations:
a. Dismissal - Applies only to commissioned officers, commissioned warrent officers, cadets and midshipment, and may be adjudged only by a general court-martial.

b. Dishonorable discharge - applies only to enlisted persons and warrant officers.

c. Bad conduct discharge - applies only to enlisted persons.

So, looking at this I would have to say Kerry was probably Dismissed from the service because they (the Navy) could not apply either of the other two.

Now this was quick look at my manual and I could be wrong. But in my position I have to deal with this stuff every day, so I would say probably Dismissal and not the other two.

Flip flop history.....

Sadly, I will never be able to wear a pair of flip flops without thinking of Kerry --- I think we should start calling them "Carries" instead of flip flops Wink Wink

Navy Chief ... I don't know how many commendations exist in your service record ... but you certainly deserve a Platinum Level "Service to Your Country Award" for this bit ... huge bit ... of work.

Mastour,

Following your line of thinking. Dismissal can only be done by general court-martial. Is that correct? Court-martial.....that would resonate with the public. (Watch for a "victim of Nixon" angle developing from the Koolaid drinkers).

Chief, you are a god!!!

My lousy traffic morning is completely forgotten.

Now we have to pressure the MSM to get this story out the same way it did the Bush DUI story. Fair is fair.

Bush may have been a danger to other drivers, but Kerry is a danger to the United States of Americal.
