Our local radio news mentioned on a few newsbreaks this afternoon that the film is "opening" in the DC area tonight, without giving any location details. They did mention the premise behind the title, also.

I also live in the DC area, and last night on NBC nightly news Arch Campbell gave the opening of this film (Celsius 41.11) some press. He didn't review it, but did a story on it, that it was a rebuttal to Michael Moore's film and interviewed some folks going to see it. He also interviewed the award winning director that made the film. Right after the piece and right at the end of that segment before going to commercial I can just about swear I hear Jim Vance (anchor) say 'I won't be going to see it.' The rest of them just looked at each other and it cut to commercial. He has a habit of unprofessional comments.
I am so sick of this crap. I am hoping that someone else saw/heard this too... If so, please le tme know. Meanwhile, I sent this email to NBC4 news:
I am trying to address this to your evening news producer-
Did I hear Jim Vance correctly last night say that he would not be going to see the new movie Celsius 41.11 after Arch Cambell's review? I first want to be sure that I heard him correctly... If this is the case, then I will no longer watch your network news. Seriously. I've had enough. I just can't believe he would say something that wreckless. In blatant support of Micheal Moore - therefore in direct disrepect to HIS PRESIDENT while anchoring the news. I speak to many, many people daily that are outraged at the main stream media and it's falure to report but to become opinionated, biased platformers and we've all had enough. This has to stop.
