The soft projectile hard target part of any of that theory can be blown away.
Ever shot a lead bullet at a steel plate? It will knock a hole in the steel as long as you are using a decent rifle.
On the other hand take a steelcore bullet and shot it at the target. It will dent and fly off in many cases.
I've actually done this as an experiment with my Dad to test the destructive power of soft projectiles.
Those stupd theories makes me so mad and I cannot believe people would keep saying that stuff when so many people actually witnessed the events firsthand!

There are other threads on here about this -
I saw the freakin' thing hit with my own eyes. So did scores of people. Everyone on that busy highway shown in the picture of the taxicab - RT 110 - including me - felt lucky to have been at least that far away. It's one of those sights, sounds and smells you will never forget.... I live a mile away, and the burning smell lingered for a couple of weeks. God help the person that accidently says in front of me that it isn't true. 
One day I'd like to run across the French opportunist that wrote a best selling book debunking the whole thing. |
