Something everyone has to remember is there are 14 states with gay marriage bans on the ballot. Some of the states are Ohio, Michigan, Hawii, Alaska, La and Oregon among others. This is a huge plus to Dubya's campaign since it is going to bring the Christan Conservatives out in droves. In Missouri during the Primaries the admandment passed by a landslide like 70% yes and the voter turnout was HUGE. A reason that the Missouri Legislature did not want that vote on Nov. 2.
I just wish that the Kansas Legislature had not been a bunch of p***ies and filibustered the admandment. |

President Bush will be able to return to Ohio and PA with the unemployment numbers decreasing as of today. _________________ US Army Security Agency

Man! 90 minutes later(after reading all that). It is really interesting and informative website. But we still won't get the complete picture until election day/eve. _________________ A willing tool of the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" since 1981. |

I agree that this Pol SCi PhD student has lotsa serious facts and numbers backed up by decent science.
If nothing else, it helps to understand processes a bit better and makes one less prone to trust the sensationalistic spin of the common media. _________________ ---Prince Lazar---

9 out of ten Nascar drivers support Bush with the exception to the one I used to pull for every weekend. If I were to watch 24 races in a row and saw him win 24 times I would now pull against him.
I am disgusted that I spent more than 24 weekends last year watching to see him run good. No more. |

Glad you like the blog it's a great website. I discovered the link to Jay's blog about two weeks ago thanks to NRO and I've been reading his analysis daily ever since. He puts the race in perspective and has been predicting that Bush will win for some time now. |

It seems to me that the Bush strategy is similar to the movie Rocky II. First, take all the others guys punches and wear him down. Then switch hands and go for the 15th round knock out. I wondered all year long why Bush & Cheney were not fighting back much. Now they have taken every blow Kerry can give them and they are still standing. All Kerry does now is read the headlines and blames Bush for whatever they say - very weak. Bush has also changed attack strategy. All year it was the flip-flop charge. Now it is the liberal charge - much more effective. I was wondering why they didn't use it sooner. I was worried all year, wondering what was wrong, why wouldn't they fight back? Now it seems to make sense and be working. Somehow I think Karl Rove has a couple a things up his sleeve even yet. Maybe it's time for the knockout punch. |
