Hmmm... My ReplayTV schedule says British House of Commons at midnight EST, but the C-Span schedule says otherwise. I think I trust C-Span's schedule more.

EDIT: looks like they rebroadcast it at 9PM EST as well! Nice job, C-Span Very Happy

What I got out of watching that rebroadcast was 2 key things that Kerry said:

He wanted an immediate withdrawal of all American forces, he rejected the Vietnamization policy of arming and supporting South Vietnam so it could defend itself, and he pontificated that if we pulled out the communists would at the most assasinate only few thousand people.

he then went on to say that since our forces killed around 155,000 innoncent vietnamese every year we were there, that would be a small trade off.

He also hinted that since the South Vietnamese government was corrupt and closed newspapers we shouldn't support it; ie we should abandon South Vietnam and let the North Vietnamese communists take it over.

Which is precisely what happened when we pulled out and Kerry's party then broke our word to the South Vietnamese and abandoned them to their fate.

Over 3 million people died. And Kerry has never gone on record admitting he was wrong about that.

This guy would make a frightening president.

Just finished watching it at 9 oclock PST. Kerry was lying then to get us out of a war with dishonor and he's doing the same thing now. John O'Neil should be the one running for pres.

O'Neill had some hecklers against him. Heckling him was an extention of the counter culture's disdain for all Vietnam veterans. I think the mood of the country is much improved at present, more respectful of the military and the price they and their families pay.
