| It's interesting to see how Bill Kristol has evolved. The weekend after the first ad was aired Kristol was dismissive of the SBVT look how far he has come. |

I believe in 71 Kerry said he committed the same acts and atrocities. I guess he forgot he was speaking for himself.

It does not matter whose words they were John Kerry spoke them. He did so with full knowledge of what he was doing. John Kerry lied in front of Congress and the world and thus hurting Vietnam Veterans for decades. Much overlooked is the damage he did to the United States in the eyes of the World. He validated the hate of Anti-American factions worldwide.
Kerry and his kind hurt veterans by promoting a public image that we were all war criminals in one-way or the other unworthy of honor. They promoted the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Army as heroes.
That is what Kerry did.
That became the prevailing view the American soldier as war criminal and unfit for honor. Any view that honored the men and woman who went to Vietnam was shouted down. And for 30 years we have waited. Now is the time to change that view. Now is the time to settle the Vietnam question once and for all. If Kerry were to win we would all lose.
Even today, Kerry is doing everything he can to foil success in Iraq and the war on terror. He is doing all he can to slander the war effort. Only one thing about this war is like Vietnam and that it Kerry’s disrespect for our nation at war. |

The LAT ran a story making the same arguments, that the second SwiftVets ad takes Kerry's Senate testimony out of context and that Kerry was only repeating the Winter Soldiers' allegations.
