John Glenn is to be be admired for his military and NASA service and to be scorned for becoming, as he was tonight, a barking puppet of socialist totalitarians. He's forgetten what it meant to be a Truman or Kennedy Democrat. I had to leave the Party in '72 and will never regret it because it left me.

He has lost respect from me. He harped on useless spending accusing the Bush team of being out of control, however I remember he didn't have a problem with squandering away several millions to go back into space on the shuttle for a kiddy ride on that budget. Pot calling the kettle black. Funny how the dems want to get back on the economy now and say that Nam was 35 years ago and we should forget it and move forward. Big flip flop, BRING IT ON now it is MAKE IT GO AWAY. This all took place in one week. Would we allow our kids to behave like this? Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it. I wish Bush would debate him on Nam, it would be "John did you go to Cambodia on Xmas 1968" "John who was President when you were there" "John did you go to Paris and meet with the enemy while you were a Naval Officer and we were at war". That would be the end of Kerry. They would take him out on a stretcher, Kennedy and Moore would have sympathy labor. Semper Fi.
