McCain pulling a Jeffords move is just wishful democratic thinking. He has never done anything or said anything that leads me to think that he intends to do a jump. I do believe McCain made a huge error with the Feingold - McCain finance reform bill.
However, with that move he became a darling of the media that would like to put a muzzle on the candidates so that their own message will have more value and the ability to have a bigger influence in shaping public opinion.
Much of the masses got sucked into this self serving media portrayal of McCain. Underneath all the trappings I believe McCain is a true conservative when it comes to defense issues and will make a great commander & chief. And while we are at war I am willing to put all other issues that divide this country and go after the person who can best serve as commander and chief. _________________ Defender of the honor of those in harms way keeping us out of harms way.
