In that LA times artical ...is kerry merging events for different dates together?
He had had enough. A strip of shrapnel was buried in his thigh. On the dock, he had counted 180 holes and dents in PCF-94's scarred hull. "I was convinced I'd probably be killed, the way we were going," Kerry recalled. "I didn't want to participate in something I thought was fundamentally screwed up."
per his medical reports, the shrapnel in the thigh was from
20 February 1969, “Wounded by piece of B-40 shrapnel today while on operation, in portion of left thigh.” _________________ .

The damage report reads
"STEERAGE CONTROL AFTER HELM INOP."
I do not know- does this mean the boat could not steer at all? The reason I ask is that if the 94 boat could not steer how did Kerry tow the 3 boat back to port? |
Sounds like the main helm was operating. |

I was wondering the same thing.
It's like what John O'Neill said tonight- "when you lie all the time there's chance you might get caught telling the truth." |

After watching a masterful thrashing by John O’Neil tonight on Scarboro Country, I’m convinced Kerry will not be able to survive more than 2 or 3 weeks. Someone will be chosen to take his place for the Presidential run and all of us can get back to our lives.
No doubt, the Media will scream that it was all a “Republican Conspiracy,” but it is my dream, that they finally “Get it.” John Kerry is a liar and worse, a traitor.
Most importantly, I pray that the Democratic leadership will choose a truly qualified leader to replace Kerry on the ticket quickly. This country deserves a choice between two, truly qualified candidates and that when whichever one wins, that the loosing side says “Darn”, rather than $%#@. I don’t know about you, but I’m sick about all this partisanship. Our elected leaders should be looking out for us, rather than their own power and ego trips.
Seeing the daily “Sound Bites,” while standing on the Capitol steps calling each other names, is just sickening. I personally think it is time to demand “Term Limits.” We really need a clean new group of Senators and Congressmen. The power struggles going on now in our Congress, is tearing this country apart.
I know John O’Neil needs a rest, but I wonder if he would be available to straighten out a few other things?
May God Bless America and all of you, _________________ DenisC
