Has anyone been attacked in the last 24 hours?

I hear the Kerry campaign is imploding. Maybe some clearer heads are deciding this was a bad move.

According to what I heard on CNN, Kerry's campaign is undergoing and will undergo later this week a major shakeup. That sounds like implosion to me...but what do I know Very Happy

I have heard that some of those Kerry's campaign want to bring on board are former Clinton people. If that is true you can get some idea of what can be expected.

Whoever thought Kerry's camp would run this stuff out the week of the Repub convention was out of it...Any 'news' gen'd by Kerry this week would get drownded out by NYC doings.

That's the reason why Kerry went to Nashville today, imo. It was insurance for him. If he bombed out, and the crowd turned sour on him, the news of it gets watered down. It was a trial balloon of sorts. If he was greeted warmly, he'd do it again elsewhere the next week for the full effect.

Yes the dems did bring on 2 Clintonistas aboard and I imagine if they run a smut slinging contest it'll start next week. It'll also backfire. Nobody wants to know if a retired Naval officer had an affair or has financial problems. The only thing people will tie them slinging mud to is Kerry himself.

I still doubt they'll do much of it, THEY have way too much to lose. It'll backfire on them big time....Couple THAT with the fact the POW ads will be coming out later, and that means the dems will have to dig up EVEN MORE dirt on individuals. Imagine the backlash when Kerry goes after Vietnam war POWs....oye vey! That, is crossing the line.

Only prayer Kerry has, is to beat W in the debates like a stepchild... Failing that, the swifts and stolenhonor have sunk the lyingsack-kerry.

If the Clinton guys hop on board then hold onto your hats because the Clintons invented the "politics of personal destruction."

Keep the faith, don't abandon your mission, do not retreat.

Rest easy knowing that you Swifties and all you Vets are respected and loved by total strangers.

Thank you for your service both then and now.

It's "Dossier Day + 3". Do you know where your Brown Book Dossier is?

Razz

If "Dossiers" are released, we should do some artwork depicting Vietnamese Communist Leaders distributing Brown Books.

Because doing so by the Kerry Campaign would be exactly the same - anti-American, pro-Communist forces resorting to Stalinist totalitarian tactics.

If the DNC does come out with PERSONAL info on some of the swifts, God help Rassmann and some of the other 'band of brothers'. I know the swifts won't go after them with personal attacks on personal info (nor am I suggesting ANYONE do same), but the bloggers will go absolutely animal on these Kerry sympathizers if we see some attacks.

It's almost as if Thurlow, Gardner and Letson, etc are extended family to many here. No one likes to see family take a beating and just stand by and watch.

Like I say, I hope we don't get into that game. But if the DNC starts getting personal, it'll get nasty quick and the swifts won't need to get involved. Let's hope it doesn't come down to that, I still honestly think the DNC isn't that stupid. They might as well concede if they get in the dirt.

Former Georgia Republican Bob Barr is working for the ACLU (really). I think he might see the SVFT side of things.

Here it is:

Saturday :: November 23, 2002

ACLU to Hire Bob Barr as Privacy Consultant

The ACLU has agreed "in principle" to hire defeated G.O.P. Congressman Bob Barr as a consultant , working on "privacy, surveillance and national security issues."

That's one of the strange things about Bob Barr. As awful as he is on criminal justice issues, that's how good he's been on civil rights. It's always been a prime example of the saying, "politics make strange bedfellows."

We're pleased that Barr is joining the ACLU--anything to keep him away from legislating and having a vote on crime issues.

(1) We do look at the Swifties as family --- family we love and care about.

(2) We sat back and let the Vets be attacked 35 years ago and were relatively silent. Now we are not afraid to speak out and defend against those attacks.

(3) I do think the DNC and Kerry camp is that stupid. They are blinded by their insane vitrolic rage to remove President Bush so they are not thinking straight. Point in fact they don't even attempt to hide or spin their double standards.

The better angels and inate integrity of the American people will see through any attacks and despise the mud slingers.

I know the Kerry campaign has brought in Joe Lockhart at a senior level. You might remember Joe as Clinton's last Whitehouse press secretary. His main job seemed to be to lie with passion and a straight face for Clinton. He was the worst of the Clinton spokespersons, all the others quit rather than whore their integrity for Clinton. I watched him give a couple of press conferences when he first became the WH press secretary. That is when I dubbed him "Joe Flackhart"
His presence indicates to me that the Clinton's are assuming direct control over the Kerry campaign. Kerry has no choice, the Clintons control the party through Terry McAulliff and the 527's with Clinton people running them. This control gives them a strangle hold on Kerry, he either does what they say, or the money & support are cut off.

Which means, I predict, that the Day of the Dossiers will soon be upon us.

You bet FDL.
I have even read some stories that Paul Begala may be brought back to run their rapid response media operations.
Anyone who has ever seen him in action knows what an outrageous partisan hack he is.
Batten down the weather hatches, its going to be a heckuva storm!
