Army retirement


The army discovered they had too many NCO's and decided to
offer an early retirement bonus.
They promised any man who volunteered for retirement a
bonus of $1,000 for every inch measured in a straight line
between any two points on his body.

The officer would get to choose what those two points would be.

The first Sergeant who accepted asked that he be measured from
the tip of his head to the tip of his toes.

He measured six feet and walked out with $72,000 .

The second one was a little smarter and asked to be
measured from the tip of his outstretched hand to his toes.

He walked away with $96,000.

Next came a grizzled old Master Sergeant who, when asked how he would
like to be measured replied,
"from the tip of my ***** to my testicles."

It was suggested by the pension board that he might want to
reconsider, explaining about the nice big checks the previous two men had
received.

But the old Sarge insisted and they decided to go along with him,
provided that the measurement was taken by a medical officer.

The medical officer arrived and said "drop 'em"
which the chief did.

The medic put a tape to the end of the Sergeant's *****
and began to work back.

"My God," he exclaimed, "where are your testicles"!

The old warrior replied "Vietnam"
