Prior to the memo's being exposed for what they were, Don't forget that the other part of the story was Ben Barnes saying that he helped Bush get into the guard. Barnes being a huge Bush detractor, a huge financial contributor and a member of the Kerry campaign.
Don't let this get swept under the rug!

The simple fact that Barnes was considered to be a "reliable" source by CBS, and subsequently inteviewed by Rather, speaks to his veracity.

Clearly, it was another CBS "mistake."

Following Barnes' Sharpstown Bank scandal, the Texas lottery scandal and the Gov. Connally real estate scandal, he now has another trophy to add to his legacy: the Dan Rather forgeries.

You can expect the story to be swept under the rug by everyone and probably the only exception will be Fox News. After all where did the Sandy Berger story go? Nothing from the MSM about what happened or what is happening with that investigation...it is a democrat not a republican who got caught stealing documents. So we can expect the same thing from the MSM especially CBS - as far as CBS - they will not mention it again.

So e-mail Brit Hume at special@foxnews.com; Brit seems to be the one who will stay on stories like this!
