As usual the choices are absurdedly ludicrous, but at least you have a chance to weigh in on RAthER Biased's untimely departure...untimely as in it can't happen soon enough!

GET SOME!

What a farce that article is! Rather being portrayed as a victim not only of a scam artist, but those big bullies over at Fox and those damned Bloggers who chewed up and spit his Story out as bogus within hours!!
Give me a break!!

I don't think he should be fired or resign yet.
We're having too much fun at his expense.
Rather's squirming has high entertainment value.
I'd RaThEr see him become a pathetic broken figure without honor or credibility. This thing will be dragged out for at least 2 or 3 more weeks and it won't allow anyone to listen to Kerry or his team. This is still good press and it detracts from allowing Kerry to be the focus of attention that he needs.

Rather should be fired, disgraced, and spit upon.
No hard feelings.

I think he should resign, but I hope he sticks around...it's fun to hear him continue to insist that the documents are not forgeries!

No don't fire him yet. I just got finished writing to them and their top 50 stock holders. We need to make then get John and the Swiftees on there and do an expose on Kerry. Let them investigate his crimes and come out with their report. Have that done by a impartial investigators. No Rather is gone. Let him retire in disgrace. He will never change that but the Swiftee message has to get out.

Rather and Mapes need to go. But not until everyone reveals their sources. They don't have the privilege of claiming immunity to reveal sources with fake documents. This borders on election fraud, and I believe that LockHart and Carville are somehow involved...

We don't want Dan to retire or be fired. He and Mary Mapes and Aaron Brown, on and on--- each day these people are on the air, another few thousand viewers switch to Fox. I would like to see these all too obvious liberals front and center on TV newscasts for some time to come.

I'm with you Scott.
Real crimes have been commited here. If this was Fox News the Congressmen of the Left would be calling for full congressional investigations for trying to influence a national election with forged government documents. And let's not forget CBS isn't cable, they have a charter they have to follow in order to qualify holding a FCC license to use the public airwaves. (All philosophical arguments about "public airwaves" being moot in this instance.)

Yes, just arrest him. What he did was illegal and I am sure he broke laws to do it.

I wonder if Rather is still digging the hole, looking for the pony?
