I didn't get to see all of it, but what I got to see was pretty good. I bet the left did not want to hear what he had to say. You could tell who they were by the fact they didn't want to clap or would lean over and whisper to each other. He said that 15 out of 18 of their provinces were not like what you see on TV, but instead were ready to have their elections. He thanked the brave soldiers of US and the coalition and said their sacrifices were not in vain. I say "Thank you" for our brave military for helping the world become a better place!!!!!! Very Happy

I was able to catch quite a bit of his speech and thought it was very moving. He was very warm and kind with his thanks. Kerry was not there I'm pretty sure (he was supposed to be sick) but is now in Ohio speaking and criticizing Allawi's speech. The evil monster never quits.

I apologize for the whole state of Ohio. Believe me, this phoney show in front of a firehouse. My son-in-law is a Columbus cop and also have friends that are fireman and believe me, the ones he knows can't stand Kerry. I imagine Mayor Coleman had alot to do with the background as he is very Democrat. He basically said that Allawi lied like Bush supposedly did.

Alawi was articulate and compelling. He acknowledged the difficulties,
but accentuated the positives. When he remarked that there was much
more positive in Iraq than the American press was reporting. I thought
of how Hitler may well have succeeded, if the press of today had been
reporting during WWII. Crying or Very sad

CNN said after what I thougt was a good speach, that it was just
pretty much the same the administration touts.
Pretty much just discretited the whole thing.

I don't know why I do this to myself, it just makes me want to
fracture my tv.

I am tired of even trying to figure cnn out.
No vision, no pride, no sense.

I wasn't in front of a TV during Allawi's address to Congress, but Fox News has the transcript.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,133279,00.html

Allawi is a true hero to his country, with a forward-looking vision for his country, and is realistic enough to know the problems he faces, and to count on his friends (President Bush and the US armed forces) to help him.

How DARE Kerry criticize Allawi--the new prime minister of the country WE delivered from tyranny? Kerry is always talking about being friendly to our allies, what about THIS one? Kerry might weep crocodile tears about the 1000-plus American soldiers killed in Iraq, but if Vietnam is any guide, Kerry will guarantee that they died in vain if he is elected.

I wonder if some quotes from Allawi's speech, and Kerry's criticisms, and some of Kerry's quotes from 1971 about withdrawing from Vietnam could be worked into a SBVT ad. Food for thought...any suggestions?

Is there a transcript of Kerry's remarks online yet?

Allawi's speech was very good and most of Congress applauded.

Afterwards during the Press conference with Allawi and Bush, the press went after Bush.

David Gregory of NBC news asked a question of Bush, couched as if he were speaking for the American people. I don't recall word for word but it was something like this, "Mr.Bush, do you see why the American people don't believe....."

I was outraged at the arrogance of this man supposing to speak for me or any other American.

I emailed NBC I am boycotting their news also and that obviously the MSM still hasn't learned anything over the CBS debacle. Arrogance reigns first with the MSM.

Hopefully others will join me in contacting NBC.

I am sick of the news media and sick of Kerry. He made a complete ass out of himself after Allawi's speech. As Rush put it, "Kerry urinated all over Allawi".

Kerry claiming that Alawi mis-representing the conditions on the ground in gave me a great laugh. The Iraqi PM is dealing "on the ground" daily in the country.

How many days has Kerry spent "in country" - I'd guess even less than he spent in the bush in Nam.

Kerry embarrassed himself and his brother dems today. He is a total failure. If it wasn't for him insulting Allawi it would be laughable.
