Is this a violation of CAN-SPAM or a joe job (revenge spam, spam sent by a third party to make someone else look bad)? The one thing that suggests the latter is the fact that the second IP address (closer to the mail source) seems to be unassigned. In fact, 192.168.2.197 cannot be tracerouted.
