Someone on this board suggested an ad featuring the wall with Kerry's words superimposed. I'm working on something similar in paintshop but need a photo of the wall, relatively close up.. there are tons of them on the net but it would be better to use one I knew I had permission to use.

Here is what I have so far:

It has already been done if you would like to try another version with different quotes.

and this one. Look closely at the names starting on the third line. That is where his quotes begin. There were some complaints about it, but that issue has been resolved. [NONE OF THE NAMES USED IN THIS IMAGE ARE REAL. THEY ARE ALL FICTICIOUS SO AS NOT TO DISRESPECT THE REAL HEROES WHOSE NAMES ARE FOREVER ETCHED IN HISTORY.]

...and this one speaks for itself.

Wow I am humbled. That one is very well done.

Thank you for sharing that.

I'm am just the messenger. The heavy lifting is being done by Scott Swett and everyone who has contributed to his www.WinterSoldier.com website. These are on the "Documents, Film Clips, Audio and Cartoons" page.

Way cool.

Deborah - I really like the 'bolding' of his words under the image - makes them stand out. If the third picture (the one with the lines of testimony) was used as a starting point or model, fading and blurring the Wall names (I had not thought of the possible complaints - my bad...) to obscure them, and not quite so much of his facial features - and a 'grimmer' expression (and the inverse of the his image, so that it shows as a 'reflection', rather then 'face out' as it is now), put the testimony only under his reflection, semi bolded (to show the 'shadow cast' by his testimony) - and I think it would be perfect. Maybe on video you could have a flag reflected on the 'good part' of the Wall, and - of course, not reflected over his image, sort of gently waving to the sad refrain of Taps. Lighting - sunset.

No words, no script. Fifteen seconds or so. Start with a wide view of the Wall, then zoom in to show the image. Close with two or three seconds of full screen SBVFT disclaimer and web site address.

The man is a scoundrel and not fit to be any representative of mine.

Thank you for this - it made my day. When I made the original post it was just an idea I had at 3:00 in the morning. I would love to see it used as the basis for an ad, I believe that it is short, to the point, and pretty much demands attention ('Taps', done right almost kills me...) from viewers. It is also very hard for anybody to complain about what is said, and the only words - well, they would be Kerry's. The potential squirm factor is pretty high, therefore providing more amusement for yours truly, and that is what is really important.

If it is OK with you I would like to send your current image to a couple of friends - it will be posted in full view of many California University type liberals...

This one is about as effective as anything I have seen. Thanks for posting this. It would make a good wallpaper for our computers. A reminder every time we Boot them up that the election is not over and this man is unfit to be our Commander In Chief.

Yes, It's fine with me, use it however you like.

I like your idea and can visualize what your thinking but I doubt I have the talent to make it. I'm no graphic person. If I manage to come up with any thing better I'll post it.
