I would like to see an ad showing all the MSM who dismiss swiftvets as debunked, when almost nothing is debunked. Show how proven liars like Kitty Kelly get exposure when Oneill or SwiftVets don't.

This may make other people relook at all of the swift vet claims again.

---------------------------------------------

Or show how consistently Kerry fights against US Policy and sides with the enemy, consistently gives aid and comfort to the enemy. In Vietnam with the North Vietnames, Kerry went to Nicarauga, Kerry's sister goes to Australia, Kerry's stance on Iraq...

End with we MUST not let him continue to act against our country. He attacks us more than the "insurgents" in IRAQ. Actually, we should call them terrorists and rebels, as that is what they really are. Most people in IRAQ are happy with us being there, especially the women there.

And don't forget - show Dan Rather saying "Never before seen memos suggest that Mr. Bush..." juxtaposed with discredited headlines of CBS and the question - do you really trust what the media is saying about the Swift Boat Veterans? Isn't it time you found out for yourself?

Wow, there may be some potential there - that and show how balanced and independents and even reasonable Dems are involved in this whole effort...

Are we up to 100,000 contributors yet?

Thanks Swifties - heroes all!

Bump...

I don't think it would fit in a commercial. It would take a documentary... hmmm, or perhaps another book?

Or talk about the fraud at wintersoldier and have Steve Pitken speak about what really happened. OOOOOHHHHH that would hurt.

The MSM isnt the target here. its Kerry. I still think a great and maybe too over the top ad would be a clip of Kerry talking about his handling a crisis and the visual is washington on 9/11 we see Rumsfeld helping people from around the ruins of the pentagon and finally end with John Kerry running down the steps past women to save his own ass. The narrator would say. is this the man we want protecting america in a crisis?

ohanakat,
You could just get the point across that no ads have been successfully refuted, so that other people know that the swiftvets have not backed off any of these issues. Some people believe that since we moved off of the medal thing, they were proven wrong. I think all 3 ideas I mentioned would make good commercials.

Chuck Z,
I would love that...... I WISH I COULD GET A CLIP OF THAT.
Can anyone make a small wmv or flash video of this. Please. This video would be spread all over the internet and would not need to be an AD.

Thanks,
I know about the video (Clear the Skies), though I have never been able to see it on TV. Visual imagery of this in the form of a wmv would be great. I may try to contact one of the people there.

How about an ad with our hero John O'Neill responding to a rapid onslaught of outrageously biased TV interview questions/comments by holding up his NYT Bestseller, stating that nothing in this book has been debunked, and stating that only Kerry himself can answer these charges...

IMHO, Ad no. 6 has so thoroughly "hit the spot" (or the belly of the beast) that SBVT can run it over and over for about two weeks (possibly in other states including Florida) and have lots of effect.

If a follow-up ad is needed shortly before the election, SBVT can play Kerry's 1971 prediction about 3000 casualties for a Vietnam withdrawal, Senator Aiken's correction to 800,000, then show some boat-people footage with a voice-over announcing two million dead and ? hundred thousand refugees (fill in the blank here), then show Kerry in 2004 promising to withdraw from Iraq within 6 months, with a voice-over asking, "Can you trust this man to lead our troops?"

This would tie Kerry's disastrous misjudgment on Vietnam in to current events, leading today's voters to believe that Kerry can't be trusted with issues of war and peace.

Then, if Bush can hold his own during the debates, he cruises on to four more years...

I AM 200% BEHIND THIS IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THis ad will be SOOO much more effective in light of the CBS scandal and may actually FORCE the MSM to cover the Swift Boats again and at least TRY to APPEAR fair.

I lost a father-in-law to the re-education camps and have a son-in-law
that was one of the very fortunate few to survive the South China Sea.
So this point has been uppermost in my participation with the Swift Vets.

sacrifices made for future generations ..... And which Kerry denigrates

Agree, Paul. I was running ahead -- the book! the movie! -- but did not mean that it isn't a good idea Wink The time is ripe to point out the bias (corruption), and the Swifties have a very compelling bank of evidence. Others may take this on, though. Time will tell, but I don't think this genie is going back into the bottle!
