We need to crack the that iron curtain of the MSM.

What about Oprah. She seems genuine. She did that a very touching storyabout those brutally tortured in Iraq. No one else is covering brutality fo Saddam. Maybe she would give O'Neill a chance...

You may have to register at oprah.com. There are some message boards there. It is not a manly place. Maybe we could explore our "feminine side"

I suggested that she have O'Neill and several of the SBVT and Rasmussen and some of Kerry's vet supporters...

It's important OPRAH!

I think you may be on to something. Seriously. Maybe it would be more germaine to her show to have the wives to the Swift Boat Vets on her show. I don't know but I think ..even if you are half kidding .....it may resonate.

I just emailed her the request to have either O'Neil and his wife or the wives to the SBVT on the show.

I am kidding about the feminine side (I was Miranda). But really serious about getting the SBVTs on. I assume that no one would mind facing the Kerry supporters?

Just let three or four vets from each side tell their recollections of the same event. Wouldn't that be fun?

I think that if Oprah could get O'Neil and Lehman on her show, that would be a show to watch. More exposure for Unfit For Command and the former Secretary of the Navy saying he never saw it, signed it, or approved Kerry's Silver Star. That would force the MSM to go crawl under CBS's Rock.

I don't think the Kerry side should be invited at all. They would probably prefer Jerry Springer anyway. Laughing

Oprah is driven by the beast too.................

She is part of the far left problem and is very crafty at putting a sweet spin on her protection of the left.

Make no mistake, Oprah will vote for Kerry.

As much as I cant stand Crissy on MSNBC, I absolutely ABHOR Oprah Winfrey.

I could see certain shows that would work. What comes to mind right away is SNL. Has anyone tried to get O'Neil a cameo spot. Imagine O'Neil showing up during a Kerry skit.

My personal opinion is to steer clear of the comedy shows. This is what Kerry did when the first SBVT ads started doing some damage. By going on the fake news show (Daily Show) he said to the general public that none of this was serious and in fact even a joke. I don't believe this is one of those moments when humor is the best medicine. Just my opinion.

You are probably right about the Swift Boat image and being above the frey. It could however give the Swift Boat Veterans a new audience that they would not have an opportunity to reach. The more exposure the better. It would be a welcome change from the way O'Neil gets treated during MSM appearances. I have to hand it to O'Neil for the way he carries himself during those appearances. There were times that I had to change the channel or risk a broken TV.

We're all guilty of some preaching to the choir. For the remaining 37 days, all of you with the time, connections and energy, please take the message to those who don't yet know. We could still lose this thing.

You have hit upon about the only thing I disagree with Rush about -
Oprah. I love them both! I think she would be very fair with John
and/or other Swifties were they to appear on her show. Just this
week, she had a very good show about the recent Russian school
tragedy and she called the perps by their name - terrorists. On the
same show, she featured an Iraqi boy who was nick-named "Stevo"
by a company of US Army soldiers. He approached their checkpoint
to offer them information about those he knew to be fighting against
the coalition, one of whom was his father. Because of his help, they
did not lose a single man during their time in Iraq. Since then, they
have brought him to the US and are going to see that he is educated.
Several of the soldiers were in uniform in the audience and when
Oprah asked them to stand, the entire audience stood and gave them
a standing ovation.

Although Oprah definitely has liberal leanings, she has a strong faith
and sound moral principles. She is the only person that I heard who
directly asked Bill Clinton what he was thinking of to have an affair
with an intern in the Oval Office. Although she is enamoured of
Hillary, I do not think she particularly likes Bill due to his numerous
moral failings. An even more important reason to consider an Oprah
appearance is the positive effect that GWB's appearance on her show
in 2000 had on his campaign. He did not really have a lead until after
he appeared on her show. His genunine warm personality came through
and was such a contrast to the impression viewers received from Al
Gore. I think both Bush and Kerry are scheduled to be on her show
in October.

Without a doubt, her show is the best way to get the message out to
millions of women (and men, if the truth be told).

OPRAH has a strong faith in WHAT?

Have you done your research on Oprah?

Do you know what she believes in?

She believes in S E L F

So does that spawn, Dr. Phil, she propped up.

God hates S E L F reliance

Her so called "faith" is not in GOD. She is part of the Hollywood "NEW AGE" crap.
