You guessed it, they all are in the process of doing some type of investigation into voter fraud, specifically dealing with registration issues.

The election is going to be close no matter what the polls say and it will be because of this one issue.

Two Ohio Voter-Registration Workers Fired

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Two workers with a community activist group's voter-registration campaign were fired after authorities determined they submitted fraudulent forms to election officials.

The workers were collecting voter registrations for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, when they turned in the forms, which were duplicates or contained false information.

2 suspects probed in 'massive' voter-signup fraud

As many as 2,000 fraudulent voter registrations, almost all from the city's 26th Ward, have been submitted in advance of Tuesday's primary election, and two suspects are under investigation, election officials announced Thursday.

The two gathered registrations on behalf of the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration, a Washington, D.C.-based affiliate of the Puerto Rican government, officials said.

Indiana
State police are investigating at least 70 instances of possible voter fraud in Madison County.

One Democrat precinct committeeman is under arrest and the Madison County prosecutor says more arrests are possible.

Mikael Vaughn is charged with 12 counts of voter fraud. On Monday his attorney asked a judge to appoint a special prosecutor, claiming Republican Prosecutor Rodney Cummings has a conflict of interest.

Indiana state police say Democrat precinct committeeman Mikeal Vaughn tampered with at least four absentee ballots.

Police say that at a nursing home, an elderly man claims Vaughn offered to help him with his ballot, but Vaughn marked down Democratic candidates when the man wanted to vote for Republicans.

the Detroit Free Press also did an article and found thoousands of fradulent voter registrations. In the article they also mentioned the Cleveland fraud issue and they said that there were many fradulent registrations filed by the AFL-CIO. Is it any wonder that the Auto Workers need election day off?

Democrats believe Gore would have carried Florida in 2000 — and thus won the presidency — if Nader hadn't been on the ballot as a Green Party candidate. President Bush (news - web sites) won Florida by 537 votes after five weeks of recounts. Nader received 97,421 votes. Democrats say most of those votes would have gone to Gore.


The Florida Democratic Party has promised to scrutinize the ballot application for a possible challenge.
