Looking good! President Bush leads Kerry 48-40. Thank you SwiftVets!

According to this site, Bush has lost a substantial lead. His numbers were over 300 electoral votes just last week. Crying or Very sad But this site has Bush and Kerry nearly tied in Michigan.

All the polls I've seen done locally (here in Michigan) have Kerry with an 8 - 10 point lead. That hasn't wavered throughout the campaign in the local polls. There's very little hope of Bush taking Michigan. Detroit will see to that.

ontheright,

Don't believe it. The webmaster on electoral-vote.com uses only the latest polls...and lately he has been spinning them to make Kerry look good. There are other much better election sites. I like www.dalythoughts.com myself.

ontheright, he is also conceding FL to Kerry at this point, wouldn't believe that yet. Even WITH Kerry having FL Bush is still ahead.

I don't think Bush can win Michigan. He didn't before. Michigan has the likes of Michael Moore-on and many, many union workers.

I hear you. I live in Mass and am actually thinking about making a journey into New Hampshire on election day, but I consider myself more of a crusader than a carpetbagger.

RCP is the best site for what I think are realistic numbers. I do check Current Electoral Vote Predictor but just to look at the trends. As was said above he uses the latest poll for the most part so you'll see real wide swings on the site. The good news from that site is the last time there was a large swing of votes from Bush to Kerry, Kerry actually took the lead for a couple of days. This time even with the swing Bush wins. Smile
