The point is that Carter has no legitimacy on the issue of upholding democracy, and for him to self-servingly accuse the freely and fairly elected officials of Florida of voter fraud is blatantly hypocritical and breathtakingly irresponsible. Next he will be saying Reagan stole that election, too.

I remember a story about Mrs. Carter laying across the bed in the WHite
