Fox and Friends said this morning that CBS won't release the results of their internal investigation into the forged documents aka Rather gate until after the election. F&F quoted CBS saying they do not want to influence the election.

Anyone have a link to this story?

Unbelieveable
The fact that you will not air the results of your investigation into Rathergate as it may influence an election, only makes it seem more likely that parties involved with the Kerry campaign were involved. You rush to air the story when it hurts Bush, you keep it off the air when it hurts Kerry.

I agree but am looking for help finding an official statement from CBS. Admitting they won't release the results until after the election sounds like the report is not good and some DNC official will get fried after the fact.

Moonves just admitted that they were trying to influence the result of the election with the forged documents!
Why?
Because he doesnt want to release the results of the investigation (which favors Bush) till after the election, because he dont want to influence the election, in his own words.
But they broke theyr legs releasing the forged documents (which favored Kerry), whats that tell you?
He knew damn well the forged document were designed to influence and change the outcome of the election.
So where does that leave him?
He along with Gunga Dan and mop-hed Mapes and the DNC were on a mission!
The bloggers threw a monkey wrench in their plans, or they would still be rubbing it in to Our President!

Looks to me like CBS is willing to fall on the sword resulting in their own death to protect their leftist Democrat candidate.
