“I want to make sure we have judges who interpret the Constitution of the United States according to the law.” - John F. Kerry

"I want Supreme Court justices who understand that statutes and code are not law, and are only presumed law until challenged in court, and who further will adjudicate the same in accordance with the Constitution of the United States, not someone who will reinterpret the Constitution in accordance with lesser statute to make it appear valid." - Phantom

Ok, let me simplify...

"I want judges who interpret the "laws" according to the Constitution of the United States, not the other way around." - Phantom

Just saw that the "Captain's Quarter" blog has picked up on this issue. I emailed the quote to Hugh Hewitt, but he's apparently been off for the weekend.

I expect we'll see more on this in the coming week, though it's hard to compete with Kerry's "terrorist nusance" remarks.

Hooah. Yeah, after seeing the time difference in the server clocks, I only beat her by an hour. Very Happy

But given her article goes into detail, I'd say she probably started posting about the same time I did. I was lazy last night, should have posted then, but actually, I kind of like to wait a while when something really ticks me off before I post...

Nice site, intelligent comment.... I like it.

Paul Harvey picked up on it today during the news at noon.
