John Warner made some great points about Kerry's statement on a global test. Someone find the transcript (CNN) it is great..he referred to him as a Navy man and how his statements are not those of a person who wants to be head of state....(my interpretation). John Warner and Chris Dodd are on CNN now..

Have you seen the Kerry Campaign's response when questioned about "global test"? I saw Chad Clanton of the Kerry Campaign today on Fox News Morning, and all he would say was they were "lies" and repeated "lies" about 4 times. Now Holbrooke is on Fox News and he even said the word "lie", but he did go into more depth trying to rationalize Kerry's words, but still he had difficulty backing up Kerry's words, but did a much better job than Clanton, who just called them "lies"--like America hasnt heard Kerry say that???. The Kerry Campaign is pushing the NYT article hard today. AdamYoshida posted something on our forum here that is interesting about the article.

Blitzer played Global Test statement for McAwful (easier to spell) and he couldn't call it a lie with credibility after Gillespie called him on it. It was a great debate....I thought Gillespie put Mc in his place.....

The Kerry campaign, through ads, is now touting that the line was taken out of context. Actually I interpreted the line as another flip flop because he had just finished stating the presidential right for preemptive action & would hunt down and kill the terrorists where-ever they are. ???? So were does the Global Test remark fit in with preemptive action? I believe he can't control his deep rooted beliefs---so I call it a freudian flip to the flop of where he actually is positioned.

Kerry said that US has the right to preemptive military action provided these actions pass the test ... the global test

The words "global test" were the correction, clarification, amplification of his words "test"
I heard his exact words --- I did not listen out of context.

What when Kerry's words are use in exact quotes it is taken out of context ----

How stupid can the American's be who still want to vote for this guy --- either stupid or the self-loathing Americans who hate America, hate themselves, and think everyone else should feel as they do so they have company in their misery.
